Eastern KY Chapter Meeting this Thursday!

Eastern KY KAWW is mixing it up a little: this month, we are combining KAWW with a Weston A Price Foundation chapter meeting: talking real food and real farmers. Both groups have the same basic mission: share the news about real nutrient-dense food and where to find it locally!

Our topic for this meeting is "Real Food: Healthy vs. Unhealthy Fats!" We'll be making two basic salad dressings. If you have a favorite recipe, please bring it. We'll also talk about lard and tallow, where to get it locally and how to render it.

If you have food for sale from your farm, please bring a sample to show or share, or bring flyers for your farm and what you have to offer -- thanks!

• Time: 6:30pm to 8pm

• Location: Bath County Memorial Library at 24 W. Main Street in Owingsville

• Plenty of street parking right in front.

• Meeting is on the 2nd floor, the front door of the library is open and there is an elevator. You'll hear us :)
